Pipets Twin

With Andy, Maurice and Margaret. We were supposed to climb Pipets but missed it, so we ended up doing a new route. There were some interesting moves & spectacular stances. Then we had a bouldery ascent to the summit. We met 2 people descending - they were slow to heed our advice but eventually they retraced their steps to safety.

En route to the base of the climb, Andy showed us the route on the North face of Binn Chaorach that he and 'Lippy' did. Impressive and daunting! Andy was leading on the buttress. Me in climbing mode - confident and happy on rock.

'Boss' & 'Lippy' nearly coming to blows in a heated discussion about tying a knot. C.O. & I kept silent. It was hot on top, too hot to go on to Cnoc an Chuilinn, so we had a nice descent via Green
Gully and a paddle in the lake.
