Hags Teeth

Window in rock face

A Friday off, and Margaret and Gerard are in Dublin, so I decided to do a walk with Patricia. We scrambled up the Hags Teeth, over the Hags Glen.

On the way up we came to a rockface with a hole the shape of a window in it. We stopped to take some photos of it.

The weather is nice, and the scrambling good. I am enjoying myself.

As we leave the scrambling and climb to Knockbrinnea the weather changes - rain and wind lash us.

We head for the Beenkeragh Skregmore Ridge in heavy rain and strong winds. We decided not to stop for lunch - the weather was too bad.

We descended the ridge towards Knockbrack, but before we reached Knockbrack we swung right and contured along the foot of Knockbrinnea to Lisleibane, where the cars are parked.

Four hours out, no break, bad weather - but I found the going not so bad.
